motherfucker i'm not going to generalize every police officer as cold blooded and brutal because one in every five or six thousand officers in the force happens to be a dick to someone once and it gets caught on camera and posted to the web

that's not how i roll especially since the number of cases of brutality compared to the number of legitimate uses of force during crimes and arrests is pretty insignificant

police brutality is something people like to throw around like nothing

really the only thing special about the sudden swarm of "police brutality" events is that it's a pretty good example of selective bias (kinda like that face eating guy that the media got all gaga about, the next day suddenly there were like five other reports of people attacking others because of bath salts and shit when previously there had never been a mention)

not to mention that saint louis metropolitan area is pretty shitty by most standards anyways, and saint louis proper and its suburbs suck the big one so yeah the police aren't going to be as good as the people you find elsewhere

really the SLMetro police departments are incomparable to other police departments

by the way a quick little tangent that saint louis is one of america's least safe cities and the metropolitan area has a horrible crime rate; the worst by far being east saint louis which has a murder rate of 100 people per 100,000 (worse than honduras which is the country with the highest murder rate, they've only got an average of 90 per 100,000)
